Help - Help
At the last Board of Officers meeting the Board decided that more incentive is needed to get you, the members, to do what you promised to do when you took the oath at your enrollment into the Loyal Order of Moose. And that is to help build our membership, so from now until April 30th 2010 The Lodge will waive the $20.00 enrollment fee. This along with the free steak dinner and your dues paid for a year if you sign up five members before April 30th should be more than enough incentive for you to sign up one or even five of your friends, relatives or neighbors.
In the last year our Lodge has lost 40 members because dues were not paid. If we don't get the membership back up, we will not get the "Lodge Premier Award", so your best effort is required to fix this shortfall. There is a list of members who are in arrears on the bulitin board as you enter the Lodge. Please take a moment to look it over and if you know someone on the list please give them a call and see why they haven't renewed.
When you talk to a prospective member be sure to tell them about the member discounts for travel, perscription drugs, eye care and insurance to name a few. Not to mention the more affordable prices for food and socializing at the Lodge, also there are all the family events, our great campground, plus the fact that you will be helping to support around 250 or so kids at Mooseheart and the seniors at Moosehaven.
With all the benifits the Moose has to offer it is hard to understand why someone wouldn't want to belong to the Moose. It really is a win win deal.
